I Get Lost

In another world I find you
to the depths of imagination, just us two.
Alone and in silence I be,
only a bright light and a book to accompany me.
The time flies and doesn’t wait,9
as soon as you enter the book’s gate.
A creature with written pages
that has been around for ages.
A weird one I’d rather say
but it’s always there by the end of the day,
to lead the journey through,
the other world, where I met you.
