strung up like a puppet
manipulate me
drain the color from my dreams
dilute
and bottle
let every drop of
blood sweat tears
flow out of me like a fountain
your main attraction
charge admission to the show
pocket every penny
and watch me waste away
steel bars and metaphors
to keep me from hope
welcome
to the performance of a lifetime
the peak of my career
with or without the keys to this cage
I will find my way out of here
