Blue is everywhere.
It smells like the salty ocean
Next to my childhood home.
It feels like the chilly ice cubes
Floating in my fresh lemonade.
It looks like the summer sky
That holds a place in my memories.
It sounds like the waves crashing on the shore
As I jump over it and land in the soft sand.
Blue is calming.
Blue is the bittersweet taste of blueberries
The fruit that I could never come to like.
Blue is the refreshing pool
Waiting patiently for someone to make a splash.
