A DEAR FRIEND
“As I Stand upon the hillside, the elisions become so clear. I know he truly loved me for his looks were so sincere.
As I stood beside his deathbed, I thought of feelings that were left ansaid, if we had only looked ahead, a lot less tears may have been shed.
As I sit along the seaside, I know a lot had been put aside with all of the nights I lied awake and cried, I should have known it was only his pride. Now it is to late, for he has died.”

This was written by me great grandma, I thought it would be nice to get some of her poems out in the world. I really hope you enjoy this.
