"This is what I like about photographs. They're proof that once, even if just for a heartbeat, everything was perfect."

I saw her
Her eyes like the devil's leave my mind in a blur
The monster that has followed me for so long
Whose hands have only done wrong
I see her red stained fingers in the river
Sometimes that alone is enough to make me quiver
She has no right to be and should go away
At least that's what the people always say
But as she comes closer, I see the pain
In her eyes, during this blood red reign

She tells me to run
As her hand grabs a gun
I wonder why she would warn me
Yet I still don't flee
Tears in her eyes from all the senseless killing
I now realize she was not the one willing
To kill for no reason or to commit such a treason
And she was not the one for which I needed to run

It was another from behind
His eyes were even less kind
With a knife in his hand
I realize I should have listened to her command
But it was too late...
And I feel the pain caused from his hate
It wasn't the gun that killed though
It was a knife, that left me to die in the blood stained snow

This is a continution of my poem entitled "Sorrow." The dark tale continues from a new perspective, but the story isn't over. There are still mysteries that have yet to be solved.
