Captivating, crisp, cold air blows,

making the trees look a little less full.

Bright orange and radiating red leaves cover the path to the tower,

making it unyielding for us to know where we endure going.

Two brunettes unable to catch our breath but always keeping the reward in mind.

We see the tower from afar,

like The Holy Hill of Observation Towers.

Two brunettes arrive at the brown wooden steps

with little to no feeling in our hands.

The brunettes try to race up to the top, who will make it there first?

The wind gets stronger the further up we go,

making our hike to the top a lot harder for us to reach the beautiful view.

We run to the top like a runner competing in a marathon.

Our shoes make squeaky noises from the wet, slippery grass.

As we reach the top, the view is invaluable.

Taking the last step on the stairs,

we look up and see miles and miles of land.

Birds are singing, leaves are falling.

In that moment we knew that the outdoors is a place to connect with the wild and understand ourselves.
