In the United States, there are a lot of job opportunities

Many jobs can make a career that can be a lifetime

But job opportunities can be slimmed based on how much education we got

Without a high school degree, there are little opportunity

The high school diploma stamps itself as it tells me I am going to be successful

My parents didn’t finish high school, so I was born with a destiny to make a difference

I know it’s a struggle with less money, but my family are in this situation

A situation that can stick like glue on my family for a long time

But situations can turn into something positive

Choices can have consequences and I am trying to not end up in nowhere like a black hole

There are lots of people who struggles with low income

Income that is a tuition that determines how much a year money can be made

That’s why going on a journey to get to and through college is essential

We only get one life and if we don’t take it seriously, consequences come as they go

The journey seems to be like a wild roller coaster

My parents are counting on me to not fail like a finish line that did not get crossed

Money is not a huge priority, but money is a resource that can be repaid for resources

Rewards comes from hard work, not from nothing

My family is a working class and it’s a class of conquest and control

There are other families that is struggling like mine

Situations is like a sound to hear to see if we are in trouble

I don’t worry a lot about money because money will come as a message to buy resources

The rich may have a lot of money, but I don’t want to be too greedy like a grumpy grinch

Having wealth or power is not the answer to our problems with income

Because if they have money, they should support us

They should support us like we’re family

Having a low income sucks, but it’s a struggle that will turn into miracles

And also, we may get stepped over like little ants

Maybe because of our race or privileges

But I am confident

I am courageous to fail all the time

Where I am now is not my fault or anyone’s fault

The bank asks for money that needs to be repaid

My bank account sends me a warning about my money

The money travels to take whatever it wants

My pockets is screaming for money to be putted in

My wallet is reaching for glory in money

Respect shall give us a praise of where we are right now

We respect others not judge others

Having a low income is essential because we have a chance to work our way up

Not to the top for fame, but for a better living

I pick up a basket from a grocery store and look for food

Even I have low income, there are certain foods that are cheap

Like fruits and vegetables that is just for a dollar bill

Then I go to a store and buy $5 dollar shirts

Having low income is like walking in a hot desert for 40 straight days

The gap between the rich and the poor is tall like a skyscraper

Working families need increases in wages

Education should be more supported like it’s a solution

It’s hard to live every day with low income I know that

But having low income can get me somewhere and puts the fire in me to work hard

The one million of dollars can be rewarding me a lot of stuff

But I just need food, a house, and clothes to live

Because I don’t want to be too greedy

And for the community, money can be well served to create change

To donate to those in need

And everyone’s lives can be better for the good

And the gap will be closed like a book saying “The End”
