Every time I see you I want to cry

Every time I see you I want to scream

Every time I see you I want to rip out my heart

Every time I see you I want to hide

Every time I see you I feel sick

Every time I see you I imagine him touching you

You make me feel as if i were a small child, and you’re the scolding parent

You make me feel nothing but pain

Just the sight of you makes me want to crawl into a warm cozy grim hole six feet down

Where I don’t have to imagine him loving you

Where I can cry until there are no tears left

Where I can be rid of the air you breathe

Where you can’t hurt me

Do you intent to hurt me?

What are your intentions i wonder?

You parade around me as if it’s some accomplishment that he loved you first

But the fact is that he knew you first

Does it even matter?

Maybe it doesn’t

Maybe you know that you are more important than me

And maybe it’s true

That’s why every time I see you I want to cry

Every time I see you I want to scream

Every time I see you I want to rip out my heart

Every time I see you I want to hide

Every time I see you I feel sick

Every single time I see you I imagine him loving you

Every Time

I am Daniela, I enjoy writing poetry. I am enrolled in10th grade Honors English. I enjoy writing, because it helps me to cope with the troubles of my life. This poem is dear to my heart, because in writing it I was able to truly understand what I was feeling.
