I know the s***ty scribbled drawings and bad jokes and the way I still hear your voice in my head when I read your posts.

I know that I unfollowed you on February 14th, 2018.

I know that you still follow me and that it drives me nuts that you see every piece of fandom art and aesthetic photo I laughingly reblog late at night.

What keeps pulling me back,

to type in the same username,

over and over,

know.

What makes me turn into your neighborhood every time I'm biking home alone, choosing to take the long way, I don't know.

I'm a sucker for the epilogue, I guess.

Even as a kid, I sucked in my breath excitedly when I got to those last few pages, last dramatic movie scene, all roses and kissing, mending things that had been broken and tying things up in a neat little bow.

Or not.

maybe there isn't always supposed to be an epilogue.

maybe some things are meant to stay broken.
