I'm just trying to protect myself

because

I know how I fall

I don't become attached

but

when I care

I care a lot

and

once I care

I'm loyal

once I'm loyal

I'm protective-- maybe overprotective

It's the triangle for my own metaphorical death

I don't want to have to catch myself

so I protect myself
