i miss u, pls come back home

i fell in love with a girl
with dark brown eyes that held the stars
and a smile that sang one thousand songs
a laugh that took my hand and led me
as i followed like a lost puppy
but i did not fall in love
with eyes that hold a gray glow
lips that throw stones
and heavy cheeks that pull her tired face into a frown
her laugh is dry and cuts at my broken heart
i hate this girl
that stares back at me
empty
through the glass
of
my
mirror
