A Moment of Silence
Please stand for the pledge to the United States and the pledge to the Texas flag, and remain standing for a moment of silence.
I ask you to take a moment of silence for,
the kids who grew up by themseleves,
the kids who grew up to raise their siblings.
The kids who grew up without a family.
Please take a moment of silence for,
the kids that work day and night to help their family,
the kids that had to get a job but still got straight A's,
the kids that fought for their future,
the kids that never gave up hope,
the kids that never lost faith.
Please take a moment of silence for,
the kids who fight mental illnesses,
the kids who faced domestic abuse,
the kids who were sexually abused.
the kids who feel lost.
Please remain silenced as we honor these kids, that could've done things diffrently but they put up a fight. Please take this moment of silence to honor everyone that made these kids strong.
Please take a moment of silence before these kids are gone.

I wrote this because we only take a moment of silence to honor people when they have passed away, and I think this should change. I made this about kids/teens because most people think that kids/teens dont have struggles but most kids or teens have struggles.
