Sing me a song

About how you crossed the sea

Or how the trip was long

To reach the land of the free.

Sing me the tunes of war stories

And the battles of the Mekong

That paint the tree of my ancestry

And rests my soul where it belongs.

Holy heck I love this! It's so beautiful and the imagery is simplistic yet so, so powerful!
