Electric hills and mountain tops
Where runaways run far
Just run away with me, my dear
Uncover who we are
Beneath the stars and blanket black
We lie and watch the moon
I’d lie with you forever more
And sing the same night’s tune

I’ll keep you far from war and such
And hold you close tonight
I’ll give you all that I can give
And try to be your light
So run away with me, my dear
And bring me all your love
You’re the girl from all the movies
The one that I’ve dreamt of.

I love the rhyme scheme and how it's not overpowering. I felt light and airy reading this poem, it was very well written :)

Ryan, this poem is like a little piece of music. What a wonderfully written heartfelt poem. Your words come from a place that only few people ever reach. Great job and dont ever stop writing.

Ryan,
This poem is so soothing and exciting at the same time! Beautiful imagery that captures many of the thoughts we have when we're in love.
You are an amazing writer...can't wait to see your poetry for class!
