She would always leave an hourglass in the window,
She’d watch each grain of sand fall to its end,
She’d bend and she’d break
From all that’s at stake
She couldn’t handle it
No wonder no one knows where she went
She looked for beauty in the grass that was green
Sun in the sky, birds that would fly,
Higher and higher and high
That’s where she’d find
What she was looking for,
Looking for,
Looking for
That’s where she’d find- what she was looking for.
