I've done something unforgivable
This thing is irreversible
And even if I could end it, I wouldn't want to
All I want is to be with you
I was hoping that when the deed was done
I would be thrown into your cell with the rise of the sun
It turns out I was wrong
The space between us is still long
I've tried to explain myself
I've told you that you are perfect just being yourself
What I did was all on me
I just wanted us to be
I fell for you, and that was my crime
Now I have to do the time
