My Pain

Tear stained eyes
and smudged makeup designs create my face
I made a horrible mistake
Trusting you, my heart grew
Play by your rules and I'm cool
Be myself and I'm thrown to the wolves
I lost my self-respect thanks to you
Now I wonder, what ever did I do
I thought I knew you,
but I only knew the person you schowed me
How could I be so nieve?
