"You are enough. You are so enough, it is unbelievable how enough you are" -Sierra Boggess

Tomorrow's never coming; how can this be?

Faded, were your eyes, that were once the blue sea.

Yet no one paused to realize, how could this be?

-For so sudden was your last breath; I begged thee

Careful movements tore the guarded trust

Tempered along with the withering tree;

It was planted deep within your heart

-For so sudden was your last breath; I begged thee

"Look the other way!" was all I've been told

Starting since the day I was a three year old

As no one else dared to comfort you from repartee

-For so sudden was your last breath; I begged thee

Alas, when you grasped my hand, you see

Your eyes were of tears; sorrow of a degree

Oh, my mother! You're but a withering tree

-For so sudden was your last breath; I begged thee

A woman with damaged pride and life

That never ceased to comfort me

You had people hurt you, cut you like a knife

-For so sudden was your last breath; I begged thee

Oh, my mother! You're but innocent

Can they not see past your past and misery?

Your weeps were broken instrument

-For so sudden was your last breath; I begged thee

With shielded heart, I begged thee

To rest in peace; do forget me

I will be long dead, under the sea

For so sudden was your last breath; I begged thee

I lie that you were able to empathize with what your mother may have gone through, and you wanted her to find peace.
