I just listened to one in a million, such a beautiful song
Remembered when you told me you could fix a broken heart by gluing the pieces together
But what if it’s the pieces you can’t find?
Lil Wayne once said he was in hell’s kitchen
I can relate
With him, I was in heaven’s hell
That’s more or less the same thing right?
He killed me but gave me life
Is it possible not to hate to love a person like that?
He was the sun that gave out shades
The moon that shined brighter than the sun
He made danger enticing
Something worthy to be praised
He gave me pain sweeter than honey
He made me celebratory to it
He gave me beauty in ramshackle
He helped me clothe the suffering
We made beautiful dresses
He gave me sanity that drove me crazy
He saw the good i didn’t see in me but still spoke about it with disgust
I liked that, at least he saw something
He gave me a high beyond this world
No drug could do that
Because of him i caught fire under water
I became indulgent to his every desire
He made me a king that served
And although the universe may disagree he did love me.
