Jerk

I love your voice,
your soft brown hair.
I love your eyes
and love your stare.

I love your laugh,
your cocky smirk,
your stupid jokes.
You precious jerk,

you know I do.
I want my hands
all through your hair
each treasured strand.

I’m wrapped around
your finger still.
Am I yet yours?
Your love does kill

the things I hold
so close to me
and yet you’re the
best jerk I see.

This is a great poem. But also aggravated me as well as reading the comments. As a guy, I am extremely passionate about the fact that all guys are jerks. Not all guys are jerks, and from my experience, girls just seem to enjoy being mistreated I guess. I have had it with girls who claim all guys are jerks, but they actually are just too blind to see that out of all the non-jerks surrounding her, she always goes for the one that looks like he could be the biggest jerk. You're right some guys aren't jerks, but sometimes the guys who are actual niceguys date the wrong girls. or soometimes the guys will close themselves off and then the girls think theres something wrong with them.

I agree not all guys are jerks ppl just group all us together from a few bad experinces. Some guys are nice you just have look for them not the bad ones. But on the other hand i do like this poem it has a point. i enjoyed reading it.

I like that you put this out there, FilmNut. A lot of the time, people only get the filr's side of the story and not the guy's. I think that girls just say that guys are jerks because of one or two bad experiences with a few lousy dudes. Although, I can't really say that I haven't done that myself. But seriously, thank you for speaking your mind. I've never heard what a guy thinks, so this is kinda nice. :)

You are total right dude.Not all guys are jerks.But from a girls point of view sometimes the guys that aren't gerks don't take the chance to let a girl get to know them.Also girls can be dumb sometimes and yes i am dissing myself but if they are just tell them at least you can tell them told you so.
