I am Drowning

The sky turns dark.
The water floods the streets.
The wind is freezing cold.
I have no shoes on my feet.
The water is up to my stomach.
There is trash floating around.
I am hopping to stay above water.
Scared because my feet barely touch the ground.
The rain is coming down and I cant see where I am.
This tsunami will only get worse and will swallow me within.
I hear people crying.
People huddling on top of cars and some floating on there stomachs in the road.
I want to leave this death abyss
I just want to go home.
