Choices
All of the choices we make
 and the chances we take
the people we surround ourselves by who never truly look us in the eye
and that we never will satisfy

All the stories we tell and
 the bad things we dwell
that will never escape our soul
and that we never will know

Amidst all of that there's this thing called life
we all live it for sometime
 good or bad
 mad or sad
we all take what we are given
 and make it a living

In life there's a thing called love
 like a child first born
 or a lifetime torn
 we all experience it
 in a damp mist

 In love there's a person
getting worsened by the pain they feel
 And to god they kneel
looking for answers that may not come
Like a beat on a broken drum

In a person theres this thing called hope
 like someone trying to cope
 Holding there head up
 looking for answers
 among all of the advancers

And in hope there's a heart
Beating like an animal in a cage
 Fighting with rage
 To just be themself
Like a book all alone on a shelf
 That never gets picked up
Like a tub with no water
Or a mother without a daughter

 In a heart there's bittersweet
Like a person you first meet
And in that person there's a dream
That we never may know what it means
 But that doesn't matter
 Among all the useless chatter

In bittersweet there's everyone full if choices, stories, life, love, hope, and hearts
 They all have beauty
 Like an accomplished duty
 We all are neglected
 Stitched together with perfected.
