I can not find the words anymore,
My heart has been empty ever since you walked out the door,
I needed to cry
So every day I let myself die,
In front of the world I did my pout,
I lost control and mean words did I shout,
I lost my senses,
When tears fogged my senses,
I cried alone every day,
Until your silence suffocated all I could say,
I soon realized you left only to never return,
Because of you all my scars did burn,
You destroyed all my love,
But I have had enough,
No longer will I be a slave,
It is time for my heart to be brave,
I have died for too long,
I will break free from your siren song,
You can watch how forgetting you,
Will be the best thing I do.

I like this poem because it's one part sad, but, one part hopeful in a sense. It's very realistic, showing all the angry and sad and desperatly hopeful sides of the story. I really liked this poem :D *high fives*

This is beautiful, the person in this poem sounds like a strong, independent, person. This is great, keep writing!  ~ Please check out of some of my work :)
