Inconspicuous, they seem at first.

Sitting, waiting for the warmth of the sun,

so they soon may burst

and yell to others, with warm yellow faces, I’ve won!



Look at them, standing tall and proud,

Swaying slightly for all to see

I wouldn’t be surprised if they gathered a crowd

That wished they were as delightful, these daisies I wish to be.



Beautiful, bright, a wonderful sight.

Yellow faced and white haired.

Bees buzz lazily, pleasantly admiring the bright

happy colours of my daisies who’ll win when compared.



Peculiar, that when matured their hair turns pink

How hilarious if ours did the same?

And isn’t it wondrous to think

that we dye ours to play their game?



Link them up, one, two, three.

They’re not only for the eyes

Be creative and link them together,

placing them on your head for a majestic disguise.
