Time is such a wonderful thing,
Watching as we hurry up and wait,
As we wait for love's sweet sting,
Or while we are in a serene state.

Watching as our lives do abate,
As we live our lives the best we can,
Giving us the choice to fulfill our fate,
Or just living with abandon,

As all of our lives began,
Like us, all must eventually end,
Of life we must be a fan,
And to times rules all must bend.
