The Wounded Skyline
Speeding jets fall from the sky
 Fearful spectators start to cry
The jets still speeding cash into towers
For the people inside this is the final hour

The first plane hits at quarter ‘till nine
And it severs the building’s spine
Smoke billows out forming a pillar of death
The smoke takes away the people’s breath

People make hasty decisions and start to smash windows
Then they jump out making more and more widows
To witnesses below they look like flies
As they are falling from the skies

At three past nine the south tower is hit
On impact the plane is split
The engines fall six blocks away
 All Americans remember this day
