LOOK AT MY PROFILE. DO IT.

A path into the forest,
Though unknown where it leads,
I feel this sense of longing,
I feel this sort of need.

A path into the forest,
Mysteriously dark,
Without a sound or rustle,
No singing of a lark.

A path into the forest,
Without a trace of life,
Trees looming ominously,
Silent, still: no strife.

A path into the forest,
Shivers run through my bones,
A moment's hesitation,
Then I'm lost in the unknown.

Awesome job! The only thing I recommend is making the first and third lines of the first stanza rhyme to match the rhyme scheme of the rest of the poem. Keep up the good work!

Oooo cool air to this poem! Ominous and quiet... *checks the coast for SlenderMan*
