The Merciless Tale of Wisdom

My kinsmen and foes all the same,
Dig a hole for me to die,
Yet don't waste sacred ground of greed,
Bury my spirit within the sky.

Let go the memory of this fool,
Daring, fearful and lack of hope,
Unto the divine air of spite,
Dropping the rival's precious rope.

Rise and rise, the demons blessed,
Unlock the gates unto pain,
Skin the beggar by your door,
Leave not a life left in vain.

Creep through the night's darkest dusk,
Befriend the naive, anxious child,
Promising gems of luscious color,
Until you reveal the truth of the wild.

Betray the comrade who spared your life,
Kill him now, strike his back,
Until he's slowly realized,
A truce will only force attack.

But live upon the solid wisdom:
No life at all has its worth,
To any man upon this sand,
Nor any creature upon this earth.

My kinsmen and foes all the same,
Dig a hole for me to die,
Yet don't waste sacred ground of greed,
Bury my spirit within the sky.
