Favorite Quote:
They dropped like flakes, they dropped like stars,
Like petals from a rose,
When suddenly across the june
A wind with fingers goes.
- Emily Dickinson

You’re mocking the sun-
Which is real?
My heart starts to pound
And my head starts to reel

The moon and the stars
Don’t begin to compare
The brightness of few
We all stop to stare

They don’t know how to feel
And neither do we
So our hearts and our heads
Turn to the sea

The planets rotate
Going ‘round and ‘round
My head is spinning
I make a sound

The tides will rise
Sea takes over
Should I greet the cold waves,
Or run for cover?

The harsh wind stirs my body
Breathing life to my soul
But the wind is not warm
And the life, it is cold

The new moon lights up the night
The butterflies fly in the snow
I am the half of myself
That I do not know
