I watched Superman fly away
Far, far away from me
My Superman that's all he was
I tried to make a plea
He wouldn't let me and took off
He left me standing there
He thought he was just hurting me
I thought he didn't care
I can't wait forever for you
Know that I'm here now
I'll be here when you need me
That'll be my great vow
I can't just make you come back now
You never did hurt me
Until you just walked away
Please just don't disagree
Believe what I say is the truth
I'll love of forever
Even if you'll never love me
Please try to endeavor
