Someone once told me
Of two roads in a yellow wood
Which one would you take
If you could?

I went to see the roads
To be free of this mental load
And make my choice in life
To maybe - finally - end my strife

But when I got there
There was no yellow wood
Only stillness in the air
And I thought - what happened?

There was no beauty
Only dead tree
And tow overgrown roads laced with Ivy
And Me

What happened?
That not even one road could be taken
Why is it that every path is foresaken
What happened?

Two roads (once) diverged in a yellow wood
And neither took I
Because both roads came to the same end
Oh, What Happened?

The author's comments:
I'm sure almost everyone is familiar with Robert Frost's famous poem "The Road Not Taken". This is, in a way, a sequel to the poem...a short ballad about the road mankind is on, and it's consequences. As always, readers, Enjoy.
