on the brink of a breakdown

On the brink of the bridge where my toes hang off,
I think about jumping taking that steep fall,
Downwards would go my body and upward would go My sole,
For none has told me things will get better,
Maybe i should have wrote them a letter,
Telling them why,
What drove me to this,
Head up, no doubt, on the brink of the bridge
