On the Shores of Keuka
Let the jib fly
 We are now running free
 Another day out sailing
Oh, I do love the sea

But a sea, this is not
 It is merely a lake
But on the shores of small Keuka
 A mighty wind does break

 The white caps are abundant
 A noisy wind does howl
It is a great day for sailing
 Let's take to the bow

 Out on the water
The wind whips and the splash is cold
 The center board is humming
 That feeling never grows old

 "Starboard!" I cry
 As another boat draws near
I have the right of way
 So I make myself clear

 I approach the windward mark
 Full speed ahead
All the boats will be tacking
 That moment I do dread

 As I head downwind
 I hear another say
 "Oh, how I love summer,
for in the summer, I sail away."
