Standing hopelessly in the depths of despair, only seeing self destruction in the mirror.
She's losing all faith, and she is lost in her ways.
No more smiles, and no more strength, her heart is long gone in the miles of length.
Struggling to manage to know what the right is to wrong.
No longer looking back, because she put her self in her past.
She won't look up, she knows God's had enough.
Crying, and being weak is an every day excuse as to why she can not do.
Her mind wondering aimlessly in help of need, she finally gives up, and kneels down on her knees.
Praying for forgiveness, and looking for happiness.
Hoping for new, and asking what to do.
Holding her head up high, she is asking for a better life.
She stood up as he washed away her sins, and she knew that she was whole again.

I wrote this piece about my mother lost in her ways, and looking for help. She found God, and she inspired me to write this. I love you mom, no matter how damaged you are.
