The media of the year 2012 is putting out a new image of perfection.

Blond haired, blue eyed girls that give everybody's ears and eyes satisfaction.

I'm sorry, but to me dying my hair and getting contacts takes too much work and cost.

Do you know how many teenagers' lives were lost,
Because they thought they weren't good enough?

The media is imaging a pretty puff,
An example no one could live up to.

Between me and you,
I have an image too,
It's called personally perfect.

As long as nothing seems wrong to you it's correct.

There is no need to prove anything to anyone.

I'm done.

I'm done trying to pretend,

If you can't comprehend

That I want to be me,

Someone made originally,

By now you don't know fluff.

Cut your addiction and get off the stuff.

The message in this one is great. The media does make us think we have to look better, be skinnier, have more friends, buy more things. True happiness is in simplicity, not in putting yourself above everyone else by being "perfect".
