That dazzling smile of his
Is so contradictory if
He lets you know how he really is

You'd never know if you just glance
He's so complex, has so many walls
Got a heart of gold that so few eyes behold

Because he'd never lead on
That anything is wrong
He's a man, has got to be strong

Immaturity is his defense
So never take too much offense
When he is cold and unfeeling

For if you could truly see his heart. .
You'd see so much
His dazzling smile hides it all

I love this poem! It also reminds me of someone that I know. My favorite lines were "immaturity is his defense" and "his dazzling smile hides it all". Please look at my poem, too!

This is great, it really reminds me of someone i know.

I really like the "Got a heart of gold that so few eyes behold" line. The rhyming really enhances it.

Your poem is so true about some people...no one ever takes the time to look hard enough to see whats in someones heart...if they did, they'd see everything thats hidden behind their "dazzling smile"

=)
