It's Only A "Hi"

To me, you are a stranger,
someone I don't know.
We could be friends or pals,
If our relationship could grow.
But I don't want to wait,
too impatient, am I?
Well we could wait 10,000 years,
and still just be saying, "Hi."
Summer could Spring,
Spring could Fall,
And Fall could Winter away.
But still, "Hi" is all we'd say.
That is it!
Time is up,
it has gone and ran away!
Too long we hav ebeen waiting,
for a meer 10,000 days.
