Left-Over Scares

Pain filled the open breeze
Bringing my body down
Bruises covering flesh with bare
Tears touching the ground

Blood filled his fresh hands
Tearing me apart
Stabbing me from the inside out
Hurting me from the start

Once have loved his very soul
But every word turned sour
His anger is pure and full
Built with strength and power

There is no more left of him
No more that I shall keep
All he brought to me was pain
Lying there in a heap

The scares show bright, fierce, and red
Traces left over that he done wrong
No more shall he hurt me
Cause his living days are gone

If there's one thing I can say about this ballad, it's that it's very well done. The eerie vibe of the whole piece is played very well, and the overall feel seems to fit the words. Great job :D
