Only One Judgement Counts

Swears that she'll never come back,
Say's what she wants is what these people lack.
She thinks she won't come back anymore.
She lies and says she won't miss it here, that's for sure.

When the leaves, her heart breaks.
All that's on her mind is memories and thoughts.
The past summers with family at the lakes.
But now, it's too late, she's trapped and caught.

She knew she'd be sad,
She didn't know it'd be this bad.
Let's be true,
She cries every time she thinks about leaving you.

Now she's settled in,
Thinking about him again.
Many hours away, he's doing the same.
He thinks he's the only one to blame.
It's such a shame.

He's on the verge of breaking.
Every time he thinks of her,
He starts crying and shaking.
He wants them to be what they were.

He finally comes to see her.
Face to face they stand.
Then, once again, hand in hand.
He smiles and says, let me tell you something true.
I'm never leaving you.
