Skin so soft,
Piercing blue eyes.
Silken lips touch,
As sparks fly.

Heavy breathing,
Bodies pressed tight.
As I lay,
With you tonight.

Burning passion,
Desperate needs.
Whispered desires,
Between heartbeats.

My hand in yours,
Your hand in mine.
Voices low,
As we stop time.

One thing is said,
Three words so true.
Falls from my lips,
I love you.

The author's comments:
I actually wrote this poem after a day spent with my boyfriend, Derek. He is the inspiration for a lot of my work.
