“I am not afraid…I was born to do this.” - Joan of Arc

The last strobe light,
Shining so bright,
Spinning around and around,
In the dark ellipse.

The people, the vibe,
Suddenly goes dark.
The mystical tide.
The music's mark.

The room is now empty,
Leaving the strobe light and me,
To dwell in the dark,
and shine in ecstasy.

The melody flows,
A flow with no ebb,
The energy of all,
is one on the dance floor.

One with the melody.
One with the strobe light.

This was an incredibly makeshift poem I had created when I new I was gonna procrastinate, so I thought "NO!". Wrote it whilst listening to Strobe by Deadmau5.
