‘Maybe Richard will find another way. Just tell him, Alice. Tell him that his own Confessor never stopped loving him. And that if he can’t undo the magic, if he can’t return to her then, she’ll be waiting for him, in the Underworld. Forever.’
-Mother Confessor Kahlan Amnell,
Legend of the Seeker

I see the beauty in a face worn and old.
The face of a man who’s often too cold.
I see the beauty of that one desperate smile
He knows I can’t go another mile.
He sees the beauty that within me lies
I see my heart when I look into those eyes.
That is the beauty unnoticed.

I like this very much. It reminds me of my Grandfather. Well done, and it makes quite a bit of sense. This poem is a beauty unnoticed. :)
