When I was younger
When something was tough
I never gave up
Nothing was ever too rough
Then I was shyer
I got picked on now and then
But it made me stronger
I'll never take it personally again
Now that I've reached high school
I've become more independent
Even though I still get picked on
It doesn't leave a dent.
