New Flames
The fire on my skin,
 The flames on my lips,
 The heart thrumming within,
 The subtle hinting tips,

 the excitement of romance,
i need it, I crave it so...
The fragile ways of the heart,
 The secrets no one knows.

I see the way we move,
like to planets in an orbit round,
No bumps, no jolts, just unpracticed perfection,
as though it were a knowledge already found.

 He shifts, I shift,
 I smile, He smiles,
 He moves, I move,
Then we sit still for a while,

 the electricity in my fingertips,
 the static on my brain,
 The ringing in my ears,
How I love our kisses, in the rain.
