that silent, "Hey, what's up?"
Then you give me a wink.

I start to laugh
at you and your flirtatious grin.
As you show off your moves,
you wink over and over again.

So that I don't over-boost your already over-large ego,
I occasionally look away.
I try to show you I'm not interested
but stubbornly persistent you stay.

Always looking at me
with a wink and that half-nod,
then a raise of your eyebrows,
"You like this?" they say. Oh, gawd.
