We always want what we can’t have
Why is this so
Why when we are cold
Do we wish the sun to glow?
Why wish to know
What it is we can’t know
Why when we know
Do we wish it wasn’t so?
Why do we not always reap?
What we sow
Why do we fight?
Why do we need our sight?
Why do the good always take the plight?
Why do the good plummet
Oh, and the cruel
They love it
To them our pain is entertainment
Worth to them is this
That they will obtain it no matter what it takes
And to them
What it takes
What they take
Mean nothing to them
Even if it is the life of a loved one
Even if it is the life of their loved one
For what
This answer
Was never known
The answer never known, no matter by whom
The question is sown

This piece, is a question, a question seeking an answer, for which there is none. It questions why those people who are good in this world, are those who are plagued the most. It also questions why people who are undeserving of what they have have it and why those who are good, those who deserve it do not.
