Tears

You said once,
Tears are to make us strong.
But then if you would,
Answer me this please,
Why am I not stronger.
These tears are getting harder.
If I shed one more maybe,
I'd go back to being a baby.
Pure and innocent.
Nothing was wrong,
Looking down a road so long.
But as I looked I filled my heart,
With tears and pain and had a shock.
Was this what life was?
If tears could make us strong then maybe,
I'll be stronger after it all.
