Here I lay,
beaten and bruised.
My leg is broken
and I can’t move.

Someone please hear my silent cry.

Moon, guide me.
He’s on his way.
He’ll find me, you see.
I want this pain fall away.

Someone please hear my silent cry.

My fragile body is a plant deprived from its nutrients.
I won’t get far.
I pray God helps me get through this.
My face is broken and scarred.

Someone please hear my silent cry.

I am a little child lost and scared
trying to find my sanctuary,
where no place else could be compared.
The one place I’m free from worries.

Someone please hear my silent cry.

He will come for me,
as he did before.
The hard wind warns me
with a violent roar.

Someone please hear my silent cry.

My harmony is shattered.
I hear him coming.
My voice begins to falter.
Take me away, anywhere but here, this is my true wanting.

Now do you hear my silent cry?

I really couldn't tell you what inspired me to write this poem. I don't want people to get the wrong idea. This is just a poem; an emotion that came to me out of no where.
