Tick tock
Tick tock,
Watch the clock
And make it stop.

Time passes
All day long,
Watch the pendulum
Fall then crawl.

Gears inside
Turn and turn,
Passing life
As it shines.

When it stops
Please don’t cry,
Grab the key
And start to wind

Years go by
As it lies,
The rust builds up
And time will die.

I really wanted to try writing something unique and creative through a simple rhyme pattern but told a story through a very abstract mind set.
