The Snow

It falls so quietly...
as we wait for the sun to rise.
It dances wildly,
As the light blinds our eyes,
It tells us gently,
There is love still...
It whispers gently,
that someday we will...
It knows so concretely,
What we wish to see..
It falls so gently,
upon you and me...
It caresses so chillingly,
upon each of our faces,
It laughs so happily,
Telling tales of far places...
Connecting us willingly,
To all that its seen...
Protecting us peacefully,
In its glossy sheen.
Falling so quietly,
as we wait for the sun to rise,
Tells us to dance romantically,
And just close our eyes,
Enjoy the world openly,
For all others to see..
The world vanishes suddenly,
As the snow falls on you and me
